While I hate listening to myself doing interviews anyway, this particular one certainly highlights the difference between doing interviews for print (which this was, originally) and broadcast. Let's just say if you INTEND to do an audio interview, learn from my lame example and do not say "uh-huh" at 30-second intervals. I remember well that this gave David fits at the time, and lord knows I can see why. Argh! Nonetheless, I offer it up in all humility. Since I am fairly clueless about this stuff and am just putting the files into iTunes, I am quite willing to send the original to the first person on the vine, provided they copy it, vine the copy, and send the origin

this is a Grateful Dead Hour and hence the interview bits are interspersed with music!

This CD is not importing, ends importing at the near the end of the 2nd track. I have attempted this numerous times and other discs are importing for me, so it is a disc problem. Have very gently cleaned it, still no go. I am going to try this one at a friends, if it doesn't work I am just going to have to send the original back to Mary and will be unable to seed the vine. Too bad. If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. William Blake

I can burn another copy from iTunes but thought we could get better quality if I sent Hal the original, which worked for me, but ??. Keep me posted on this.
