I never got it together to see the tours that consisted of Philadelphia, NYC, and Boston. Most of my shows were in the Midwest and west, so I am making a point of going to the Nassau Coliseum and MSG with my brother. Has anyone seen the huge banner of Garcia outside of MSG? It may be in the foyer, but I don't remember exactly where it is. I was coming out of Penn Station one day, and they had all these banners for the great events at the Garden and one of them was Jerry Garcia representing all of the Grateful Dead shows. I told my brother about it, so now I am on the hook for showing it to him. :)

Not everyone in L.A. is spends that kind of money... I live in Hollywood and I eat f*a*n*c*y for half that, and you must be buying a lot of people drinks to have a $100 tab at any clubs I know of. Unless you're hanging with Paris Hilton. $10 an hour? Seriously, you need to take it down a notch or let Paris buy the drinks. I'm not freaked out by the ticket prices though. They're actually a lot less expensive than most concerts with good seats in the $200s. See you at the show, brother. :o) Peace, Bearly

Why yes, things HAVE gotten a tad overheated here the last few days. In general, wading in while dozens of people are screaming curses at the band, the world and each other is often counterproductive. I am pleased to see folks sticking up for the community and the good vibe, and welcome all newcomers who come here in the same spirit. In addition to the fairly legalese TOS to which Hal alludes, I heartily encourage you to check out the Very Few Rules that pretty much define the way we live here. Thanks, further, etc. ME

The MAC a FEE something or another) and drummin my little Head off enjoying the vibes, cooking phat fires, and enjoying veggie burritos with a little sage stick on the side. They closed down some kind places in SF just like that one earlier. I know that the United Center in Chicago will not have a good parking lot, that being said, I do know alot of heads around here over the now 9 years I've lived here. Will be Heading with some kind peeps just around the corner of the show. _________________________________________________________ Will you come with me? yo moye, A for effort. Happy Easter to you and everyone else, too!! also, folks, watch out for counterfeit tickets!! please don't buy ANYTHING from people you don't know. worst case: it is some poisen and you end up dead or in the ER other bad case: it is an undercover-fuzz selling you to set you up for a fall. (scalper or other stuff undercover fuzz) totally dissapointing scenario: you think you have a tix, but get turned back and shut out at the door trying to get in with a bogus ticket you bought off some asshole. PLEASE be carfeul with everything. drive safe!

From seeing the set list and hearing a bit from the stream is it a fair assessment that the show rocked last night? "When the smoke has cleared she said, that's what she said to me. You're gonna want a bed to lay your head and a little sympathy"

Thank you to all in the Grateful Dead family for putting on this tour. Greensboro was an amazing musical experience. I am so grateful to this wonderful organization to offer the downloads of these shows as well. It always has been about the music. Sunday night in Greensboro was un-disputable proof that the boys are STILL the greatest band going. Thank you Phil,Bobby,Billy,Mickey,Jeff and Warren(who, by the way, did an amazing, amazing job filling those shoes. He was not flashy. Just showed in his own style, that he is one of the greatest guitarists on the scene today.) For all the Deadheads that will be attending the rest of the tour--enjoy yourselves. These shows are truly a gift to all the fans who realize just how special this music has been to us since the beginning. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!

Can't believe that in 48 hours I will be in the parking lot of a Dead Show!!!! It has been 14 long years... can't believe it. They played Ripple last night - so psyched to hear the recording, but a little bummed I missed it, cuz most likely won't come out tomorrow - I'm also going Sunday so I will hope for that - and here is why: I am going with my 14 year old son who is incredibly pumped to be seeing the Dead. He thought he would never get the chance. Now...when he was a baby I would sign him to sleep with... Ripple. The song became a real bond between us through the years, so when I heard that they played it in NYC I thought that it would be the perfect moment (OK, that and the fact I never saw it live when we were all still Grateful too). I am so excited I can hardly keep a thought in my head. You know what - never mind - I don't care what they play. WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO
