The Rhythm Devils began as the duo of Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann and his percussionist partner Mickey Hart. Over the years, they transcended rock and roll drum stereotypes with polyrhythmic explorations of the world of percussion, using an extraordinary variety of instruments and approaches. The aftermath of this collaboration was the larger Rhythm Devils, which have made periodic reappearances over the years. The 2010 version includes Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, Keller Williams (guitar, vocals), Davy Knowles (guitar, vocals), Sikiru Adepoju (talking drum), and Andy Hess (bass). Together, they will take music beyond the horizon to a universe where rhythm is in constant flux and sound has infinite potential.

Damn, awesome show last night. Basically tore it up. Great to see everybody out there enjoying themselves. The band seems to gelling bigtime. Sweet mix of classics , gutsy soulful blues, in the pocket grooves and oh my - that bass player and the gentlemen behind the kits were just ferocious! I love going home whistling Ripple. Nice. Thanks guys. Definitely catch this incarnation if they swoop in anywheres near u.

Smoking hot!

I was blown away. I just wish I would have planned better and took off from Steamboat to Idaho and then Salt Lake at the very least. They are worth travelling for is what I'm getting at!! I'm very grateful for being able to see them twice and am hoping for more shows in the future. The Vibes will be out of hand!! Have fun everyone! These excited reviews of the tour so far are really getting me stoked for Niagara Falls in September, and JAMcruise in January!!! Glad that Billy and Mickey are turning it up a notch and keeping it sharp. Love you guys!

Great Venue

So glad you're coming to State College. You will love the State Theater. It is small and intimate with great acoustics. Have loved shows by Jorma and others there. Can't wait to see you!

Wohoooooo can't wait to see you Mickey. So excited, first of all....you and Billy have been two of the most influential percussionists in my musical adventure. Second, I wouldn't miss this for the world, saw Billy @ Furthurmore, Wanee and I'm really looking forward to this for sure._____________________________________________ Will you come with me? missing vine

To all on search of this vine, i wish i could go back in time and let you know what happened to it...i dont have this vine...if i did receive it, which very well msy have happened a few years back, i dont have it now...or at lesst i cant locate it...and i dont have the transferred flac files on my external hard drive. Vineyard PSA

Hi Folks of the Vineyard, I am writing here as this seems to be the most active vine right now. I sent the 93 vine to LIBTECH a few weeks ago and have never received a reply to multiple follow-ups. This guy has a public online presence, but I have not called him at work. Yet. Second problem. I have the '82 and '91 vines still in my possession. There are no further takers on either at this point. I am trying to find an active member who can accept these two vines for me and hold them until another taker surfaces. Due to some personal circumstances, I will likely not be on dead.net very frequently in the months to come. In the impending whirlwind, I do not want to lose these discs and fail my deadhead friends. "When life looks like easy street, there is danger at the door!"
