    Mysterious powers of the Dead
I remember it being rainy all morning. It was your typical north west cloudy, wet, day.I swear when the Dead came out with "Here comes sunshine" the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and it was sunny! It stayed that way for the rest of the show. Huey Lewis cam out and jammed on harmonica (who knew), and Jerry was really fired up on "Standing on the moon" belting out " I'd rather be with you!!! This had to be one of the best venues to see them play at. Surrounded by nature, plenty of nearby camping, and overall good vibes!

    Return to the Dead
An old friend from Colorado showed up at my door in SW Oregon headed to the show. He convinced me to get back on the bus and my wife and I saw this show. Standing on the Moon still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck, miss you Jerry. I taped every Downtown Deb Trist Dead Air show from KLCC for several years after this. One of the better Queen Jane's as well.

    Remember well
It was hot that day and when the Indigo Girls went off it clouded up and started raining a bit then the boys hit the stage and cooked up "Here Comes Sunshine" maybe it was the family crest doses but i swear the clouds parted right away..no more rain the boys were magical

C'mon... Huey Luis on Harmonica for Good Morning Little School Girl! This was the first time I'd ever heard Garcia belt out the end of Standing on the Moon to make my hair stand on end... I can hear it now... I'd rather be with you!!

My dad flipped cassettes to record the broadcast at home while I attended the show. What a dad! DW

GREAT Schoolgirl/Smokestack...I mean, how often can you get to hear THAT? In the 90s, no less! Standing on the Moon was never a big fave, but this version was HUGE by Jer and the crowd went nuts. A very nice raggady assed, loveable Here Comes Sunshine, too.

The drive up wore me out and I was sick of I FOUGHT THE LAW at that point. Bad seats, hot day.

I somehow bought some new TEVA sandals, and went swimming in the river there in eugene. Got a chance to have a beer with Bob Weir, and loved my backstage pass. Great time.

This was the year that we camped at Dexter Lake outside of town, the little bar out there is where they filmed the bar scene from "Animal House" & woke up the first morning to bagpipes, awesome, and rode the bus into town, great ride, the bus driver just reminded everyone that smoking tobacco was not allowed but everything else goes! Met a new friend, River, at that show who sent me awesome photos from the show, great pics that I will never give up. I couldn't smoke anything at the show cause I fought the law and the law won, had to do pee tests for a year...and I think about the bricks of hashish I saw going around on the floor in front of me...AWWW
