Hey now Matt, You might try digging through the setlists for the shows on the Vines forums, there's probably a couple of hundred shows there. It'll be time consuming though. ************************************************ I have a sigfile! --> www.kindveggieburritos.com ************************************************

    Compendiums cheaper than Amazon?
I'm wanting to get a set of the Tapers Compendium. New copies would be great, if available, but I guess they are out of print now. I'm looking for any or all three volumes + the addendum. Through Amazon there are sellers with used/very good condition books and Vol. 1 isn't too bad, but Vol. 2 is fifty to eighty dollars & Vol. 3 is nearly a hundred bucks. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're worth it but a hundred bucks for a paperback is kinda steep. If any of you folks know of a source for these I'd appreciate a personal msg. Thanks, MarkintheDark

I was reading searching for people and "bulletproof" wrote a blog about "Dance your ass off" which remided me of something I have been looking fo for a while. Anyone remember the "DEADERCISE" t-shirts found at shows, think may have been 88, anyway I used to have one but like so many wore it till it fell of me. Tried google and all that but no luck. would love to find some. They had different dancing skeleton scenarios, kinda went along with the club dead stuff, which I can't find anymore either. i just love the whole deadercise concept just think about how many calories you burn per show what 3-4 hrs continuous movement what a deal. so if anybody knows sharethe knowledge thanx.

Okay, I am compiling a list of Grateful Dead songs, from the book by David Dodd. I am trying to make a playlist of every song in order it was first performed or played live. The problem is the task is not that easy. I have already stumbled and can't find CARDBOARD COWBOY, FRANCE. If someone could send me the files I'd love it.Jam on and Smile, Smile, Smile

I can't believe there are no graphic artists posted in "my day job" forum. I'm looking for an artist to help with a t-shirt design for my company. I have a post up on guru.com but thought I might find a creative person on here to work with. Going to do a small run of shirts to give to my customers in San Diego, CA I want my company logo and tag line "providing the right climate..." worked into a beach, bar, ocean, etc. type of scene as a double entendre. I'm in the commercial heating and air equipment business - hence the tag line. Not looking to tie dye art. Small budget but work is work. Interested? Please contact me before 7/17/09. Bill

Greetings! i don't how to find the relevant forum to send you this message as i don.t know how to get to the "post new comment"sector whenever Imight want to send one. Is't kind of a hit situation until I better understand how the computer(mine) and forums on a web site functions. So I'd like to know if you have the obligation to read every comment sent on each forum and give your opinion about it? In other words are you what's called the webmaster for this particular website? And are you advising me that I already don't suit enough deadheads on your here website and not send my opinions on comment forums which resume me as a bad mouth not worth bothering to hear about? Never got domesticated by Americains ,not ever deadheads and it upsets elders routines, maybe,A wild untamed swan is not welcome here? Iask you with cer courtesy to answer me privately at ka.swan@live.fr

since your question is of general interest and someone else might want to know the answer: I am the forum moderator, yes. And this place is a crossroads of Deadheads from many different places with many different styles, and as such requires a high level of mutual respect and civility. Stating your views is fine, indeed encouraged. Conversation and debate, ditto. Suggesting that people who don't agree with you are stupid, unenlightened, or otherwise deficient, not okay. I refer you again to the Very Few Rules. And now, back to In Search of Stuff.

Where did I ever said on any of your forums that people who don't agree with me could be stupid or deficient ?I thought Isaid clearly : Truths are like diamonds with many angles to look fromI I admit i got snapy with this deadhead when i came cross a statement he made about foreigners in december 2008 i found lately on the forum "deadheads behind bars" Next i found he talks about "french folks and foreigners" on a other forum that he didn"t seem to care about, then yet another comment elsewhere stating he thought i was not even worth bothering about. Like the Bouddha once said :We just can't please ereryone! This deadhead "Stuman" got me to talk on a forum for the first time ever and it also opened a door a perception al the way overseas to europans shores and now, all my deadheads friends, isthis only about memorial anniversaries concerning Jerry Garcia for a few days and then the routines as usual the outcome?

this place and its attendant community have been up, running, and constantly shifting for the last two years now. Rituals of the season and new releases tend to bring in new folks, and those who like the place stick around. Those who don't go back where they came from, presumably, and that's the way online communities work. So I'm sure things will go back to whatever the current version of normal may be after August 9, until the next burst of excitement comes along. And now, this is the In Search of Stuff topic. This discussion does not belong here. As it says in the Very Few Rules, post comments in the appropriate topic; it is disrespectful to the people who use the topic for its intended purpose to impose an unrelated subject on it, and such comments are going to be deleted if they threaten to derail the topic at hand. Thank you.

Hello I was wondering if anyone had an image of the Steal your Face with a Phoenix rising out of the skull. I observed this at Rothbury on the Fourth of July on the screen above them while they were playing and have been asking people since and have had no luck. Granted this was my first Dead show, saw Phil and Friends a couple times before as well as Ratdog but I have never seen this image on any merchandise or anything else for that matter at any of there shows as well. Thanks Dave

I'm wondering if anyone out there has converted JACK O ROSES to a digital format. I can't find it anywhere. To me it is the most incredible Hunter release. Someone help me!

I regret to say that I don't believe this ever came out in digital form. If it did it would make many people happy. You probably aren't making any such solicitation, but for the record: Jack o'Roses is a commercial release, however out of print, so distributing copies of it is not okay and soliciting them on this site ditto. I tend to agree with your assessment of the album... It's certainly where I'd send a Hunter newbie first.

Greetings all you deadheads out there, I am in search of any and all film and photos of the July 4, 1990 show at Sandstone Amp. You all remember it as the hottest Dead show in history! It was a scorcher and I am desperate to find all the photographic evidence of this memorable show. Especially if you can see a 14 y/o brown haired boy wearing an "Ice cream kid" t. All help and submissions are appreciated. Please send to mndeadhead76@yahoo.com. Peace and Blue skies Ryan
