    Hey Brother, I am the same way . I don't do Facebook , and consider myself a normal down to earth person that just seeks personal human contact, the old fashioned way.. face to face or snail mail ....lol I'm not tech say and got shut out twice (mail order) & (TM) I was hoping to see the boys one last time , bucklist type of thing for me .     I know it's a long shot
    I love the Grateful Dead but haven't been able to see them in concert since 1986 (at Alpine Valley). I had so hoped to go to the concert at Soldier Field back in 1995, but it was not to be. I would love to take my husband to see this final concert. Not only has he never seen the Dead in concert, he's actually never even been to a concert! As I'm disabled (I have MS - I use a cane or walker on good days and a wheelchair on bad days), we can do the accessible seating options or the regular ones. In order of preference: Sunday, Friday, Saturday just because of my husband's work schedule. He's normally off on Sundays and Fridays are easier for him to get time off than Saturdays. But we can't afford much more than $100 or so per ticket. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully consider selling us a couple of tickets. Sue

    I agree, this isn't the way Jerry would've wanted this! Deadnet please do something! I never thought in a million yrs dead heads would do this to fellow headers, so sad I'm truly disappointed

    Looks like no tix from GDTS or Ticketmaster. If you could spare two tix for the 4th (4 would be even more awesome so I can take my adult children who have heard the stories but say they would need to see it to believe it. I tell them you would need to hear it to believe it!) I will be eternally grateful and after I pass this mortal plane will return as guardian to you and/or your offspring...How's that for a Grateful Dead kind of deal?     All those selling on stub hub for 10 to 50 times their purchase price should be shut out of going to the show ... they are not true Dead heads ...but merely Capitalists...I am a believer in the American Way but this is NOT ... the Promoters should find a way to purchase all these tickets on Stub Hub and not pay the seller and then find some fair method to distribute them to the true followers ...I do not even care if it is not me..... I first saw them at the Fillmore East in 1970 when they were still playing with the Riders

    If anyone thinks someone who hasn't been on the forum for years is not a true deadhead, that's not true. Some of us are not computer types, I still play cassettes sometimes for cryin out loud, and I am one of the few people left in the world that has never been on facebook. I have been a head since I discovered them in highs-school and deadicated ever since forum or no forum.

    need tickets for an old deadhead...
    My husband and I saw all the shows we could from 82 to 95, as we were 14 yrs old starting out..we met in 91 and went all over to see them. We've seen phish, eat dog, Jerry Garcia band, now our 25th anniversary is coming up in July 4th..we tried mail order and ticket master..I'm willing to pay a little extra for 2 tickets but can't pay what stub hub and all the others want! I need a miracle, I wanted this too be the best anniversary ever for my deadhead hubby , what better to take him to the last anniversary concert of his dream band, I need a MIRACLE PLEASE PLEASE..     Trouble with Ticketmaster
    Is anybody having trouble with Ticketmaster? I logged on to purchase tickets and it said it was searching for tickets and not to leave the page. Almost 7 hours later it appears to still be searching but I am afraid to log off because on my other computer I can see they are all sold out. Any info?

I'm still serching for a ticket to the Atlanta show. I thought I had one (and maybe still do), but the person who wrote me via mail in this forum also posted the fact that he/she has an extra for all to see....so I don't know if I got back with him/her quick enough. I really need a ticket as my daughter has never been to a show, and she didn't let me know until it was too late that she wanted to go. Of course, this miracle might come with a price (face plus) but I don't care. Taking my daughter to her first show is my goal, and I know there is a kind brother or sister out there who feels my pain and knows how special it would be for me to be able to take her while the boys are still playing. Well, nothing has changed yet. I know some of you guys are saying "Damn, what is this guy doing coming on the forum writing what seems to be a journal about getting Atlanta tickets?"....well, from my experience from following the boys for 30 years (and of course in the years since....), there is one thing I know....there are what seems like a zillion brothers and sisters out there who DO care about their fellows, and kindness has not stopped. I'm still looking for an Atlanta ticket for my daughter, and I know some kind soul will find a way to help me....thank you all in advance and see you on the lots!!!! ... I hate to suggest this, gdradio.net suggests a fan exchange site for tickets called vividseat.com. I just checked and prices are up to $188.00 and you gotta buy 2. It blows me away that ticket prices are getting so high. Guess there is going to be a crush at the shows, most shows anyway. Hope you find your miracle. Everything comes around, especially if you used to sling miracles.

News from the "I need a ticket to the Atlanta show" front: No news. Sorry to say, I have tried every avenue I could think of to get a ticket, and it looks like I might not get it. I know you have all seen my post explaining my situation....I have no doubt there might be a miracle waiting for me at the venue (I used to sling them left and right....karma ya know), but if I DON'T get one, I can't leave my daughter out in downtown Atlanta. So we both will miss the show. IF there is anyone out there who has an extra for the Atlanta show, PLEASE email me and we'll make arrangements. I can pay face plus any negotiated sum for your trouble. Other sites are charging more than $250.00 for a $65.00 ticket. That is no better than scalpers trying to rip people off. Well folks, one thing about ol' Paul, he never gives up. There are only a few more days until the boys play in Atlanta, and I have yet to find a ticket so I can bring my daughter (Angel) to her first show. I'm thinking there is SOMEONE out there who has an extra and hasn't seen my post(s). Brother or sister, if you ARE indeed out there, I'm hoping and praying you will find the kindness in your heart to turn me on to a ticket for my daughter. I am hoping to find the miracle here, as I don't want to take her to the show and not find one. I couldn't let her in the show by herself, and I certainly can't leave her outside (she's 15). Looking for 1 or 2 tickets to either or both nights of Radio City Music Hall... Don't care where the seats are (I'll be sitting with my other taping buddies anyway)... Just need to get me and my taping gear in the door... A second ticket for either night for my wife would be nice, but hey, getting my decks, mic's and me in is more important... :) Obviously, whoever hooks me up with a good deal will get copies of the shows plus I can get you copies of any other night on the tour (or even older stuff - your first show maybe??)... If a copy exists, I can get it!

Hey folks. I'm looking for a pair of face value tix for the Wednesday show in New York. I live in LA and as far as I can see the boys aren't coming out to play here - but, I have to go to NYC for a few days to deal with the legal aftermath of my arrest in a nonviolent sit-in for universal health care at an Aetna office last September.
