This is a picture of me going in to the Odeum stage at the Rothbury Music Festival July 4, 2009.
I am actually up on the hill in this shot by the mega rowel of crappers.
Dr. Ralph Stanley and The Clinch Mountain Boys are on stage.
The Black Crows will come on later followed by The Dead.
I am grateful to be here and I am thinking that this may be the last time they play as The Dead.
Maybe the last time I don't know.
Tomorrow Never Knows.
It may just turn out that they'll be back in just a little bit.
Then we'll all have that group picture taken again under the big tree on the far side of the hill.

Oh man what a bummer
I was already looking forward to a journey back to Michigan. Sounds like they are planning for 2011 at least. But I was positive that Furthur would have went this year. Well hopefully Furthur will come to the Jazz Aspen Snowmass fesitval this summer instead along with Wilco.
