I think i actually cried during He's Gone
Not sure, but I know my body was goosed..the way Jerry sang it out into that unreal bluesy and fierce coda. I could feel all the anger and sadness ripping through him...We all missed Brent, but that night during that jam his loss finally hit me.

Tripping a little too hard this evening...
I remember having to take a little break at one point when things were getting a bit too intense with the lysergic, but I did discover that the Coliseum has this neat little East Bay Sports Hall of Fame display memorializing members of the Warriors, A's and Raiders. With the speakers in the halls for the dancers, you didn't miss the music anyway. A stroll around the concourse always seemed to work wonders when things got a bit wiggy. Great show as well; fantastic jam after He's Gone, just marvelous interplay between Jerry & Bruce. The set list doesn't look like much, but the playing was top-notch. "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

This was the rockingist show of the run. We were in the warrior room below listening straight from the soundboard. Did a few bingers with some event staff members from the Oakland Coll. The China Rider was amazing. Cold Rain and snow as well. Man....

Yes, I agree about the great "China Cat Sunflower" > "I Know You Rider". Highlight of this show, for me.
