They seem to have stopped releasing shows from the European tour on vinyl. At least for the time being. If they release further ones, as I hope they do, this one would be great candidate to get the ball rolling.

    23, decent, but…

    and 9/24/76…
Edit: sweet set list, cool show that I’ve only heard a couple times as I only received a copy in the past year…thanks again XX really enjoyed it!

    Fall 73…always the temptress!

    Onward to fall 76…
Enjoyed 1970 more than I’d thought.
Out of tune “everything” and constant quip issues not as prevalent as I recall lol. Suppose attitudes an antecedent to bias’?
I wasn’t too familiar with second half of the year, but there’s some top notch shite thereabouts! Inconsistency too, but that usually goes with heightened transitional periods. Shame there’s not more good recordings…
But now I’m definitely ready for something completely different, so time to hit fall 76, including the new Dave’s!
    Onward!
    To 8/4/76
Both kinda status quo creeper first sets, but they sneak up on ya.
Dig the jam outta MAW on the 2, sounds like headed toward miracle lol, and JG is lobbying for trucking, even a lil Nobody’s fault vibe, but Bob ain’t going there, and eventually what might of been a cool segway just drops out, but rebounds with one of those big late seventies S&Ds, nice Candyman, and cool playing/jam.
Currently, Just on the jam outta Dancin from the 4. This show really picked up steam as she goes, and my goodness, what a Help/Slip!! If nothing else, check that sometimes! Ok, let’s see how it ends…
Believe this was my BFF Jim (Wild Knights Bass maestro!) and long time buddy Sean’s first? Shit, been needing to call him lol

These were mostly good, and mostly good recordings, and you can tell they’ve morphed into that tight, song oriented band of 71, though there were inconsistencies, mainly the new, not fully absorbed material their still hashing out…
Today onto 3/21/71 at which point I’ll have hit all of 71, so will move onto fall 76 and hit what’s remaining there, including the new DaP!
    Onward!

    And onto 3/3/71…
Sounds pretty good so far H2H!

Sound quality is good. I suspect that a little Plangentization/Normanization would make for a nice official release.

The China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider is on the Long Strange Trip Movie Soundtrack - Amazon Exclusive Expanded vinyl release.

Hey All, Been milling around in the Red Clay and Straight Life recordings. These are Freddie Hubbard's Masterpieces. The musician line up on these sessions are excellent. Highly recmmended and a fine way to take a break from the Dead...

12/6/73. Kind of a meandering one, that doesn't necessarily get to the point until the 37-minute mark. I think it's good to not have much of an agenda sometimes. Eyes of the world kicks in and is smokin' good. Killer Here Comes Sunshine. Why do so many great shows come out of Cleveland?
