aka the bonus disc from the New Years Eve 1976 Live at the Cow Palace. At Oro's suggestion sort of. It has two songs off the latest release! The Let it Grow > Might as Well. Likely have not played this CD since I got it BITD I'm guessing. A bounty of treasures on that shelf.
    Cheers
I'm seeing this was a Dave trial balloon or sampler of sorts as all the selections have been released in later incarnations of Road Trips and Dave's Picks. Includes 6-9-76, 10-2-76, and 9-24-76 (this Playin'>Supplication>Playin' is cool!).

Spritely played (first) versions of Terrapin & Estimated + a kickin' Deal that all sets the tone for the year ... of course, followed up by that glorious Playing > Wheel > Playing 'sandwich'.

Onward to the 2nd set - adding in the sublime Morning Dew from the next night in Santa Barbara.

    Cheers!

Edit: didn’t get best listen to the 14, but sounded tour status quo (good) but less fireworks than the Oakland pair. Same with the 15 until the second set….
Yowsa! Supposedly WTJ and others suggest no last tape available, shame
These two would make a fine two for…

Missing about 10 minutes of the show according to the notes.

    Sounds good.
Would probably sound grate if it got the official treatment.

Hey All, Been milling around in the Red Clay and Straight Life recordings. These are Freddie Hubbard's Masterpieces. The musician line up on these sessions are excellent. Highly recmmended and a fine way to take a break from the Dead...

12/6/73. Kind of a meandering one, that doesn't necessarily get to the point until the 37-minute mark. I think it's good to not have much of an agenda sometimes. Eyes of the world kicks in and is smokin' good. Killer Here Comes Sunshine. Why do so many great shows come out of Cleveland?
