    Nice! I have a 1970
Nice! I have a 1970 Campmobile hardtop I've taken to Bonnaroo & Summercamp the last couple years. "Grilled Cheese only $1." Ah yes.....those were the good 'ol days, but now they're gone. Seems like the festival organizers are really crackin down now on vending. Where has the shakedown complete with VWs gone? I miss it. I want to be able to go to a parking lot and get a delicious veggie pasta for $4 or $5, a tour shirt for $10, some fatty nugs, and wash it all down with some dank beer. I miss Dead tour!!

    How sweet it is!
Looks mint! Still got it? My parents bought a brand new orange 72 camper and in the summer of 72 packed up the fam, took a 6 wk leave of absence, and took us camping through the northern states to Seattle, down the coast to LA, Vegas, and then back through the south. Next year to Maine and back. Then to Outer Banks, NC each summer afterwards. When I turned 17, this would become my tour bus. Ahh, the sweet memories!

Mine didnt have the pop-top but I had the sun roof...Yours is/was much cleaner than mine... I recall the year at Shoreline they (who ever they were) asked us to move from the center island so all the VW Busses could line up and then they took some sort of publicity shot. I think it was 89 tour.... Eric
