Fit in so well on BBM. Nicely done. Would have liked to hear more from her with the GD. Also...who else thinks had he lived the great Stevie Ray Vaughan would have opened some stadium shows? In another universe...summer 1991 at Giants Stadium SRV opens and sits in with the GD and the newly clean and sober Brent Mydland returns the favor the next night and sits in with Double Trouble on the B3....and the crowd goes berserk.....

I was in the loge level, straight to the right of the stage (Jerry's side.) Had a great view of the stage AND backstage. Bonnie Raitt wanted to play along on Man Smart/Woman Smarter (could see her backstage going "gimme my guitar!" The roadies wouldn't let her, but then they set up for Big Boss Man. Great show. (BTW, The New Grass Revival opened the show, their last show under that name. Backstage, Bonnie Raitt gave Bela Fleck a glass slide - thus was born electric slide banjo, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. A minor bit of musical history.)

I remember this show fondly. I loved Bonnie playing slide guitar 🎸 while Jerry sang Big Boss Man. She is a legend and I am honored to have heard this. I feel blessed to been able to grow up at Grateful Dead shows and all the other great artists they had play with them.
