Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1974, 1984, and 1989.
Our first selection is from 7/25/74 in Chicago at the International Amphitheatre, one of the Wall Of Sound shows. From that show, we have Loose Lucy ; Black Throated Wind ; Loser ; Beat It On Down The Line ; Sugaree ; Mexicali Blues. This is a very cool-looking venue; check it out online if you get a chance.
From a decade late on 7/22/84 in Ventura, CA, we have this excellent forst set: Dancing In The Street > Bertha; My Brother Esau ; Loser ; Cassidy ; Ramble On Rose; Hell In A Bucket > Keep Your Day Job.
From the penultimate Grateful Dead show at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI, on 7/18/89, we have the start of the second set: Sugar Magnolia > Scarlet Begonias ; Man Smart (Woman Smarter) ; Eyes Of The World.
Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
