Any interest in a vine of Dire Straits and/or The Police? I've acquired quite a few really nice-sounding shows from these bands. I will be burning some discs for a good friend here and it would be efficient to burn discs for a vine here at the same time.

I'm certainly seeing a raft of abusive posts from you, but otherwise I'm having trouble identifying the problem. When you go to My Recent Topics, is this topic not showing up? When you go to The Vineyard, is it not appearing as sticky at the top like it oughta? Since other people seem to be able to vine without swearing at me, I'm at a bit of a loss here.

accessing the site with his cell phone if that makes any difference. I know I had trouble with windows explorer for a while. At the bottom of the screen there was no word verification and no way to post. I have since went to firefox most of the time and haven't had any trouble. I noticed windows sent out an update to fix the problem the other day. There just a little behind.

because I'm sitting here in Firefox and Safari going ??? stuman, if this is indeed the case, please let us know what device and/or OS is having the issues, and I'll pass this info to the tech guys, as it is certainly the case that more and more folks are going to be coming in here via mobile devices. Perhaps I need new glasses... If I go to the forum and select Vineyard, I do not see the 'Meta-Topic' as a sticky in the Vineyard. I can see it if I go to it directly or search for it in 'recent posts'. Also the 'Dead Beat Vine' does not show up under the Vineyard... once again I have to go to it directly or search for it in 'recent posts'. Here are the urls for them, http://dead.net/forum/dead-beat-vine http://dead.net/forum/vineyard-meta-topic Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

is quite active, and the My Recent Topics page is probably the most reliable path. I'll pass this to the tech guys; the metatopic actually IS defined as sticky, so there may be an issue with how many sticky topics can appear at the top of the page.

So I am sitting on all these juicy recordings from November and December of 1979. As I look at the Vinedex, there are a lot of holes in these two months. There are some really Grate shows that have never been vined, as well as some shows in vines that are no longer in circulation. I have been a fairly active member this past year and I know that I have not seen either the "Dec 79 Indiana Uptown Toodleloo Vine" or the "1979 Fall part 2 Vine" anywhere near the front of the forum. These two vines featured some exceptional Grateful Dead and I would like to get them back in the mix. To my surprise the 12/1/79 Stanley Theatre Pittsburgh show has never been available here in the Vineyard!?! This is one of my favorite shows from 1979 and everytime I walk past the Stanley I think of how blessed the venue is. This is also the same venue where Bob Marley played his last concert on 9/23/80. The name has now been changed to The Benedum but it is the same hollowed building. Anyone that isn't familiar with this 12/1 show, do some research. A Grate show from open to close but things get real crazy out of the He's Gone Jam in the second set. Wow!! Makes the hair on my arm stand up everytime. One last thing, be sure to listen to the matrix of 12/11 KC. The segue between Lost Sailor>Saint is awesome and unique. Enough. Here's the vine. First person to sign up after this has a home, shoot me a PM with your address. This is 6 discs and none of these shows have been officially released. gd79-11-02.07920.sbd.macdonald.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-11-04.07919.sbd.macdonald.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-11-23.07861.sbd.unknown.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-11-24.113741.mtx.seamons.t-flac16 gd79-11-24.sbd.miller.113499.flac16 gd79-11-25.88489.sbd-repatch.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-11-25.90846.mtx.tobin.sbeok..t-flac16 gd79-11-29.95831.sbd.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-11-30.95832.sbd.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-01.31946.mtx.chappell.sb15.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-01.96408.sbd.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-03.29434.sbd.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-04.34937.sbd.tetzeli-fix-2535.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-05.112235.mtx.seamons.t-flac16 gd79-12-05.sbd.miller.112163.flac16 gd79-12-07.14842.aud-nak300.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-07.108853.sbd.miller.t-flac16 gd79-12-09.108854.sbd.miller.t-flac16 gd79-12-10.34938.sbd-fix.tetzeli.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-11.103092.sbd.miller.remaster-89165.t-flac16 gd79-12-11-haugh-miller-MTX gd79-12-27.81601.sbd-set1.miller.sbeok.t-flac16 gd79-12-27.89199.aud-senn421.walker-scotton-miller.t-flac16 gd79-12-31.17281.sbd.hinko.sbeok.t-flac16 . This vine is not a complete GD rehearsals list. It is, however, made up of rehearsals and some oddities not already in the vineyard. 1/1/82 for example is an unreleased/unbroadcast radio play called "The Bugs" which features Mickey Hart, Barry Melton, Bill Graham, and others. It is similar to a "War of the Worlds" kinda thing.2/21/92 is one of my favorites. They are learning/rehearsing SMR, my favorite 90s GD song. I'm not sure if there is a demand for this but since these seem kinda hard to come by, I'm offering it up for anyone who wants to give it a go. gd69-xx-xx.studio.dodd.16760.sbeok.shnf gd74-12-xx.mars-hotel.12468.sbeok.shnf gd76-05-28.rehearsals.gems.82947.flac16 gd78-08-xx.sbd.wiley.11692.sbeok.shnf gd79-04-16.studio.clugston.3121.sbeok.shnf gd79-xx-xx.gthroughmixes.samaritano.xxxxx.flac16 gd82-01-01.sbd.hanno.19808.sbeok.shnf gd83-01-24.sbd.miller.21264.sbeok.shnf gd83-01-31.sbd.miller.21265.sbeok.shnf gd83-02-01.sbd.miller.21266.sbeok.shnf_shn gd83-02-06.sbd.miller.21270.sbeok.shnf gd83-03-14.sbd.miller.21269.sbeok.shnf_shn gd84-xx-xx.sbd.16613.samaritano.sbeok.shnf gd88-00-00.sbd.munder.20606.sbeok.shnf gd89-03-xx_Built_To_Last_-_Studio_Outtakes.flacf gd90-09-28.sbd.jeffm.13531.sbeok.shnf gd92-02-13.17404.sbd.samaritano.shnf gd92-02-21.08189.sbd.rehersal.shnf gd93-02-10.rehearsal.Samaritano.17435.sbeok.shnf gd94-02-25-rehearsal.fm.gmb-flac16 gd95-xx.xx.97111.
