    it's been a month...

...since the last NE show [6/30/74], so looking towards that energy boost with today's listen of Hartford 1974-07-31, got the DL many moons ago which was burned to CD and then imported to my phone (yup the version with the UJB encore tacked onto china>rider), so while it's not daP2 version, it's still going to be a FUN listen.

...ahead to 1974-07-25 Chicago, been about 7 months since the last listen, and always enjoy "the feel" of this show.

almost forgot about last week's 1974-06-30, most enjoyable and will return to Springfield Civic soon. Was reading the Vol 1 Compendium last night, and got to the incident where RAMROD got clunked on the skull by one of the tapers because he wanted to confiscated the guy's tape deck. wow, heavy, as told/written by Jerry Moore

Saw him with Other Ones at Fiddlers Green 8/29 - just dumping rain during his set and it was a cold Colorado rain. Despite that, a fun night. Hornsby sits down at the piano as Other Ones take stage for Set I (rain had stopped?) and immediately begins tuning Dark Star. Friend and I just looked at each other with ear to ear grins. All in!

Doing the laundry and listening to Ziggy & the Melody Makers ~ Fallen Is Babylon. The new Bob Marley biopic has me in the mood lol. Takes us right back to those great vibes of Furthur ‘00!

Hey All, Been milling around in the Red Clay and Straight Life recordings. These are Freddie Hubbard's Masterpieces. The musician line up on these sessions are excellent. Highly recmmended and a fine way to take a break from the Dead...

12/6/73. Kind of a meandering one, that doesn't necessarily get to the point until the 37-minute mark. I think it's good to not have much of an agenda sometimes. Eyes of the world kicks in and is smokin' good. Killer Here Comes Sunshine. Why do so many great shows come out of Cleveland?
