    Indeed
This was my first show and the memory still lives. It was truly amazing and the band played so long the power was cut off at the end--twice!! if there was a soundboard recording of this out there somewhere I would sure like to get my hands on it.

Seeing the Grateful Dead at the old Mammoth. Don't know what it was like in 1970 but by the 80's the place was pretty much in shambles. The Filmore now is really nice. "I've stayed in every blue-light cheap hotel. Can't win for tryin. Dust off those rusty strings just one more time. Gonna make em shine."

My older sister's first show (and only?). Why so many listings as two nights? From what I've seen here and the Colo. Spgs. newspaper review it was a one night gig 4-25-70 and there never was a 4-24 as Deadbase suggests.
Edit: (12-17-23) The site Jerry's Middle Finger does a good write up of this one or two show question concluding there were two shows. Since the tapes are scarce and memories fade there are still setlist debates though. Talked to sis about this today and she is going to review the show on the archive. She also saw the Denver Pop Festival in 1969 at Mile High where Jimi played the last show of The Jimi Hendrix Experience line-up.
