    The poster of Cal Expo
The poster of Cal Expo Amphitheatre takes me back to my childhood days. When it actually happened, I remember walking to the theater holding the hand of my father. It was a wonderful experience for me. Now, amphitheatre is something that only Google can explain to the kids. cheese graters

    Europe 72 revisited...
Well, first of all. Took an original hippie to this show. It was his birthday present from me. Second of all...1st 3 songs, well, seemed like it was gonna be the same ol' dead stuff at that time, Tech problems etc, couldn't hear Phil that well, then all of a sudden...everything got worked out, heard Phil great, and... the whole show was like Europe 72! Bob even had those jazz riffs back! A great and splendid time was had by all!

    Awesome summer show!
My first show ever. Total dead virgin, 17 years old. Graduated from Marin Academy June 5 and we drove up to Sac, me, Chet, Janos, Cybele, Ginger, Jan. Have a picture of me and my sis in bathing suits and short shorts three rows from the stage. We all went swimming in the water slide park next door. Camped and jammed on guitars. Best time ever, I'll never forget how free I felt, out of school and grooving to the tunes. Was the start of a beautiful relationship.

some guy put an upright piano in the back of a pick-up and brought it along. Murphy's Law dictates that he HAD to be parked next to my bus. Naturally, he played all night long. Most memorable was a song of his own creation: Cos-mic Chaaarlies and Shi-nin' Haaarleys They wore tie dyes and leathers All dancin' tooogether... It was horrible.
