    nice hall
Can you say, "keep moving?" The hall is a palace of swing. Blues Brothers final show in the movie is in that place. "Dancin' with the Stars" is there? Looks like it. keep your character, enjoy living, share your fortune, OXOX Merple Reddin

The Palladium holds 5000 people. It was packed and hot. A ballroom, so no seats, except upstairs in the VIP section. When they launched into Dark Star, everybody lay down on the sticky, dirty, beer soaked floor. Great show.

This song is missing from this page's set list. It was played just before Dark Star. Check the Archive dot org page for this show for confirmation...and to hear it.

while not the first time I saw them, this was really the one that got me on the bus. Nice bluegrass band opened up (High Country, I think) and a long first set where Bird Song really blew us away. For the second set, we were down right in front of Garcia (festival "seating") watching him smile at all of us. We could see behind the speaker bank David Crosby rolling and smokling joints. Yea, right we said. Then, Dark Star begins and there he is. A long night at a great venue. Thanks for the memories.
