    Settlin' in...
Hey now! This night had really great playing with a rather average setlist. Each song was solid and executed well, just not the overall greatness from the night before or the finesse from the next night. Then again, when you compare the 91 Fall tour to most other shows of the year you are SOL. Bruce really pushed Jerry to his limits on this tour- regardless of the 1991 Sumer of Darkstar Love Tour.

09-05-91 Richfield Coliseum, Richfield, Oh. (Thu) 1: Half Step> Rooster, Stagger Lee, Queen Jane, Ramble On, Cassidy, Don't Ease 2: China Cat> I Know You Rider, Woman Smarter, Ship Of Fools, Truckin> Smokestack> Drumz> Miracle> Black Peter> Sugar Magnolia E: U. S. Blues As mentioned in the previous post, this night was overshadowed by the previous and next night. At the time this seemed like a mellow but well played show. Every song once again was executed nicely. Really a well played show without a lot of open-ended jamming.

Two nights in a row without Picasso Moon, Corina or Victim? What did we do to deserve this!? This is an amazing setlist, in my opinion, given what it could have been. Loved this whole run at Richfield.

Always loved the coliseum shows, no matter what they played they played well there. I have to say it was my favorite venue.

Has anyone seen my GD - Without A Net disc one? The parking lots patrol took that and our whip cream maker and hauled my buddy off to the port-a-jail to book him for abuse of an inhaleant (sp?), and made him miss half of the first set. I loved the parking lot at the coliseum and also miss it greatly

Twenty years ago today I sat front row center for a Grateful Dead concert! Mail ordered tickets for this three-night run in Richfield and got great seats for each show. But when I arrived on the second night, I went down to the floor, handed the usher my ticket, and he walked me straight to the front of the stage and then sat me down directly under Bobby's mic! "More than this I will not ask." I had to dodge Bobby's spit a few times during Miracle. So, very belatedly, I'd like to express my gratitude and say thank you, Grateful Dead Ticket Sales, for a REAL good time!
