Folks, we have had numerous requests, since the last chat room perished, to set up a new one. A new one is under construction at dead.net/chat, and you're cordially invited to use it WITH THE CLEAR UNDERSTANDING that is is under development, not a finished product. If you already have a happy chat home elsewhere, that's great. If you're interested in helping us make one here that works for the people here, as contrasted to doing something just because it exists that way elsewhere, come on down.
