This appearance occurred 10 days before Jerry's passing. I met my good friend Jeff Wiener at this event. Jeff had just moved from New York and didn't know a soul in Atlanta. Ironically, I ran into Jeff again 10 days later in the middle of Piedmont Park among thousands of mourners who had gathered to celebrate Jerry's life. We have been close friends ever since. This shot was taken on New Year's Eve 2008 after midnight when Phil & Bob joined forces. To our amazement when we took a look at the photos my girlfriend spotted an image of Jerry's face on the stage created by the lights. I guess you see what you want to see, but all the same it does make you wonder...

OK, Question? How do you introduce a young person to the great atmosphere of a G.D. Show, and in 2008? Well, we don't have a time machine so we took the VERY next BEST, and that was the NEW YEARS EVE Show in San Francisco. We traveled from Mount Shasta CA, made a three day/two night trip of it, and had a GREAT Time.
