Plane Crash sometime in the early 80s
I went and saw Oingo Boingo the week before I believe. I recall driving by soon after that concert and seeing a tail of a little plane sticking out of the old place. It was shortly after they decided to tear this old building down....
Too Many Dead Brain Cells
I don't have a very clear recollection of this show, having ridden down I-5 from Berkeley in the back of Grey Wicker's pickup truck the day (night?) before. I recall it was very sparsely attended and I enjoyed the musice very much, but was sort of creeped out by the fact that the place was maybe half full.
blind all the time i was learning to see
my second show, went w/6 friends, lost them at the door,,,found new friends.....like magic... was plugged into the band...never !
had such a good time , show ended, i walked out thru the door
i looked to my right....there's my 6 friends....! take that ride again
Yes! Truckin'
Weir was excellent-rallying to his vocal delights - I paced the joint like nobody's bizness because it was so loose...People were HORRIFIED at John Lennon's death, unable to see any sense of freedom. Deciding to entertain the band, I did a shaddow dance at the upper door way to Truckin'....I also mocked Weir, yelling "hollywier Hi'z!" because he was so perfectly singing. Always wanting to loosen those stiffs,
