....extremely talented and tight AF. Awesome flow within the incredible segues. They stopped playing anything maybe three times the entire show. Jake Cinninger on guitar is Bad. Ass.
Band very good at giving signals to each other while playing and looked like they were having a great time.
Light show on point.
Fans are very nice. Dude next to me said it's his 147th show. He looked maybe 30. Name was Josh. Originally from Oklahoma but now lives in Denver lol.
I knew a few songs, but could tell when they busted out a treasure by the audience reactions which I can appreciate.
They are playing Phoenix tonight. If I didn't have to work Monday, I would've went. So there's that.
Best $64.95 I've spent in awhile.

In jest of course. I'll likely be cremated. But I did see the throw it out idea happen at my parents' home when that day came. And I was one of the tossers as the sister who got the house is a hoarder. Surprising how little brown furniture went for at the sale. That was nice stuff BITD. But since there were three of us it sort of went by committee and had to be a unanimous toss or donation.
What few thoughts I have had toward that end is selling it off in chunks as I know my wife doesn't want any of it. Maybe like the desert island question. Which ones will you save 'til the end? Today I'd say the Dick's Picks stay and selected boxes. I've let her know the values so that scenario Dennis mentions won't happen. There's a lot of money sitting there that I'm sure she'll need. And no eBay if I can help it. Is there a thread on here for selling to the faithful? I'll keep you guys informed, LOL.

I always point out to my son the stuff not to give away or throw out,,,, who knows!?

I have many a friend that does auto collecting. They have the same stories. Two minutes after their dead, the wife/family is throwing everything out and selling off all the cars ASAP. My one buddy talks about boxes of "parts" bought at auctions and flea markets, maybe a dash from a 52 Caddy, maybe a set of valve covers for a 62 Deville, but all this stuff is in boxes and labeled. Into the dumpster!!

And yes to billythekid: a complete Feb '70 FE release, followed by WotF with the Watkins Glen soundcheck, followed by a summer '73 boxed extravaganza.

It certainly hasn’t been a typical February in Coachella Valley. But being a transplant from Omaha, a little Cold Rain and Snow is quite nice, all in moderation of course. The new hockey team here in the desert almost feels right on days like today. Salton Sea is a great story... wish I could have seen it in its heyday... and hopefully it will get the attention it needs. Anyway, all this weather ought to produce a super bloom in Anza Borrego this year! ....... tcc
