"There’s the simple fact that the band members were old enough and experienced enough by now to be virtuosos on their instruments (what other group—rock or jazz or any other kind of music—could boast a trio of spectacularly singular talents such as Garcia, Lesh, and Weir?) but were still young enough to want to play and play and play some more, the happy, itchy inclination of youth. As a few of the shows in the Here Comes Sunshine boxed set attest, it wasn’t unusual for a 1973 concert to exceed four hours. And within the shows themselves, there are nearly nightly examples of hour-long orgies of tune-linked songcraft and juicy jamming." - Ray Robertson, HERE COMES SUNSHINE 1973 Liners

8 years in and the Grateful Dead are a little bit of everything to everyone. They are putting up textures and tones of rock, of jazz, of country, with set-morphing vibes and long stretches of improvisations that are completely keyed into the sum of their parts. Keith Godchaux is here with his cascading notes. Donna Jean too. Both finding their footing and keeping things steady in the wake of Pigpen's unfillable gap. The spring of 1973 feels transformative for the Dead - no more so than the May and early June shows, complementary yet remarkably different, soon-to-be cornerstones of everyone's tape collections, and now, 50 years later, set to be part of the band's official canon.

HERE COMES SUNSHINE 1973 is a limited-edition, 17CD boxed set with five previously unreleased, highly sought-after Dead shows, including: Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, IA (5/13/73), Campus Stadium, UCSB, Santa Barbara, CA (5/20/73), Kezar Stadium, San Francisco, CA (5/26/73), and Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, Washington, D.C. (6/9/73) and (6/10/73).

During the spring, the band road-tested most of the songs they would record that summer for WAKE OF THE FLOOD – their first studio album in three years – including early live versions of “Mississippi Half-Step Toodeloo,” “Row Jimmy,” “Stella Blue,” “Eyes Of The World,” and, the set’s namesake, “Here Comes Sunshine.” Also tucked into the collection are songs destined for the Dead’s 1974 studio album, FROM THE MARS HOTEL – “China Doll,” “Loose Lucy,” and “Wave That Flag,” a precursor to “U.S. Blues.”

The new repertoire slipped neatly into the fluid setlists alongside songs honed on the 1972 European tour (“Jack Straw,” “Tennessee Jed,” “Brown-Eyed Women”), Chuck Berry perennials (“Promised Land,” “Around And Around”), classic country (“Big River,” “The Race Is On”), and incredible jam sequences: “He’s Gone”> “Truckin’”> “The Other One”> “Eyes Of The World.”

Due June 30th, the individually-numbered, limited-edition 17CD set features vibrant graphics and custom-designed folios by GRAMMY® Award-winning Art Director Masaki Koike, a custom-dyed Tenugui and an exclusive poster featuring an illustration by Mary Ann Mayer, and liner notes by Canadian author Ray Robertson, The Owsley Stanley Foundation, and David Lemieux. And, of course, it features newly restored and speed-corrected audio by Plangent Processes, mastered by Jeffrey Norman.

It doesn't appear anything is selling out this year, regardless of the year.

I would think this box would be gone by the end of the summer, but who knows, the first two Dave's are still available as well as the last two years Box Sets.

Put me down as wanting the full shows released. I definitely prefer to listen to full shows.

    Yeah, what he said..

though I still like the Dave’s format (enough 77 though), but I understand why some folks are dialing things back.
    I agree totally otherwise.
Really, when you think about it, most bands play THE same set every show, or damn near, often year after year!
So comparatively, the Dead’s not so bad. Again, I think it’s just some of us have been listening to too much? Ok, blasphemy I know, but no matter what you dig, if you’ve done it a looooot over the last 50 or 60 years you might experience at least a little burnout?
So even with hundreds of songs in the set list, after all that time, I think it natural that maybe some have grown long in the tooth? And of course it’s often situational.
But hey that’s perhaps just me, as we know some folks here that only seem to listen to the same 2 or 3 years, and years where the set lists were significantly repetitive, and don’t seem to tire lol.
I think earlier the band didn’t worry as much about repeats for two reasons: they wanted to get the new material out, Bob especially likes to saturate the newbies, and second, not many people were going/traveling to so many shows.
I think they thought about the sets more later on, as so many folks “toured” or did blocks like we did.
In my early years, I was lucky if I saw a few one off shows relatively close by. When they started playing multiple nights at one venue it was a game changer in many ways including set lists etc. You could now see 2 or 3, or even 4 shows without a repeat!
So yeah, a box of shows from a same tour, especially from the earlier years, is likely going to have some of “those” songs repeated. But like Daverock states, it’s the jewels were after, and hey, that’s what the skip button is for lol.
I can understand Dogon’s etc point about getting saturated and too much etc, but personally I’d rather get the whole show as a completist and just skip or delete from playlist.
If I was younger and if the digital only, no clutter/stuff generation, I’d probably still get the sub, rip it, then give it away, or sell it to cover the cost. That way still supporting the cause, because when sales drop to a certain level it’s all over now baby blue…
But I’m also fine if a show is smoking/must have but not complete, as long as we get the jewels! Ddddaaaawwkkk Ssttttaaaarrrrrr Jerrryyyyyyy!
Yes sir, it’s all bout dem jewels, the weirder the better!

    All this repetition

It seems to me that repetition is a characteristic of box sets generally. I have quite a few that have multifarious versions of songs included - here's one by Jerry Lee Lewis - 25 versions of a song called "Break Up"! This is on "At Sun Records-The Collected Works". It's clearly not for someone who just wants to hear only his best work.

I wonder if Dead box sets, and the Daves Picks series are similar? I would expect there to be some dull moments on the upcoming 1973 box - going off what I have already heard from this year. To me it will be worth it for the jewels. A lot won't think that though - it just depends how much of a completist we are. There are definitely shows in box sets that I don't think warrant releasing in their own right - but which just seem to be there as a build up to the better shows. I listened to 6/7/77 last week - and that seems a bit like that.
Same with Daves Picks. I have got a bit tired of that format, which is why I no longer subscribe. I now just want to cherry pick shows I think I will like, rather than buy everything. That might be a mood that is becoming more prevalent.

    Cowboy songs

Not wishing to rain on anybodies parade, but for me the crux of the matter is the sheer number of times these songs appear on the artifacts we listen to at home, ie not in the moment of the concert. The Dark star/ el Paso/ Dark Star is of course magnificent but very often the little songs(Cowboy or other covers) dont really go anywhere. This is the problem when the Release Everything model won over the only release the Best Stuff tendancy. Of course sometimes the best stuff does include whole concerts or even whole runs, sometimes a compilation would do just fine.
I mean how many El Pasos do we need? Or even - sacrilige -Lovelights? ( hej, wait a minute, wait a minute...)
For me the Europe trunk is magnificent even with the occasional longuers , sorry, mostly down to Pig, and the very best shows should be released uncut, but a fair few not exactly stellar shows have found their way into the various box sets or Daves since then, even taking into account our individual preferences for certain eras or line ups, the best bits of these shows could of course been compiled into anthology releases. Perhaps, just perhaps stuff taking so long to sell out these days might be down to the fact that so much is already out there, which appeal to the completeists and stamp collectors on Dead Net, but not the average Joe, who may just buy a wrong un, factor in the scalpers, and the notorious difficulties getting access to this stuff/ non existent customer service, and perhaps we are nearing the end of the golden road chosen back in the middle of Road Trips.
Thanks for listening, As usual YMMV! Respectfully and

    Great point, daverock, but...

once something sticks, it's stick-y. Maybe those songs are deemed "cowboy" because they use "cowboy chords"? Getting stickier now....

I'll say this, I think it was 8-1-73 when the GD did Dark Star and dropped into El Paso, went back into Dark Star, then Eyes. (Setlist Programs confirms this memory.) Just a brilliant example of what the band would do to f*** with our heads. And, indeed, when Dark Star resumed, we looked at each other (thank the gods we didn't go it alone) like, "What just happened?"

Probably the best placement of an El Paso in GD history. And they had to have discussed it beforehand as the transitions were flawless.

Just another of my patented, yet completely pointless remarks. Thank you!

    Why cowboy?

It's always struck me as a bit odd that the Dead's country rock covers are often referred to as cowboy songs. Johnny Cash wasn't a cowboy. "Big River" is one of the great songs Sam Phillips recorded at Sun Records, and I associate it more with rockabilly than I do with cowboys. For me, the term "cowboy" reminds me of Hollywood westerns. John Wayne and all that.

Yup, did the Straight UPS, no chaser upgrade so it would come directly to the house. F##$ those miserable passive aggressive PO aho’s! Bastards would send it back if there was even one extra dot or letter in the address.
Good news is, box looks cool, bad news, check yer discs as the way their seated in the sleeve, we’ll, half were out of the sleeve and loose. All but one look ok, and hopefully that one’s just smugged…
Now if I could just find the time to Rip it and get a grip…..it’s gonna get LOUD this WE!
Woo whoo…

Vguy prolly got his quickly being in Vegas as they appear to have shipped from there?

Yay! UPS says my box is due for delivery today! Just in time cause I'm returning home today. Big four day Portland Waterfront Blues Festival starts Saturday, so I won't have too much time to dig in until next week. My cup runneth over.

You said that "Bastards would send it back if there was even one extra dot or letter in the address."
One time I ordered a CD from a store in Texas. They sent it by USPS. It arrived in Chicago where it should have been put on a plane to europe. Instead the USPS jobsworth returned it to the sender in Texas. The reason? On the address label my name started with just the initial S rather than the full name of Simon. The guy was obviously having a bad day, but really, what a retard.

I love my US Post Office! I know I'm the odd duck. Always takes UPS a week to get it to Plano PO, a day later I'll have it.

Tomorrow it happens - Here Comes Sunshine, Post Office, tomorrow.

Phish Farmhouse, Amazon, tomorrow. Though I got the free digital download the moment I ordered!

Real Gone Music got Rupert's porno track out in one day! (hoping it's in the first 200)

Third Man Records, slow as shit. 10 days since notice, still not sent. (Miles Davis Vault 56 box)

I think Vguy got his that fast by the grace of god. (small g cause I'm a pure atheist)

Now,,, don't ever bad mouth my PO again :-)

Finally if you want a small smile,,,, google "pasta dump old bridge new jersey". Point of interest,,, this is around the corner from where Englishtown Raceway used to be,,, and not far from my old high school.

Made me LOL on your comment about skipping a Victim. Trying to remember, could your memory be that good? I have posted before about Skipping Victims (great band name). I listen to it occasionally, trying to find the one that will hook me. I wrote a ways back, it did take me like 35-36 years to find that Red Rooster, but I found it. Now don't even remember where that is. Oops

Yep, Simon, that’s the kind of stuff I refer to, BUT…!, it’s a relatively small town and the Other One is there constantly so they know who we are, know you by name etc. AND, after THEY instructed us to use address flowed by X and your box number, if it was sent other than usps they’d usually not return it. But recently they decided that if we do that, they’ll send it back! No reason, just FU…
Even if the box number is on it, even if they know who you are, if you now include your physical address as per their old instructions, they’ll send it back!
Being so rural we can’t get home mail delivery, and half these companies now use USPS smart post, but often the service/order people aren’t sure how it’s going to be sent so we’re kinda at the mercy of the PO. So being able to include both address and box number helped, now…no bueno!

So PTB, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the straight UPS upgrade option, much appreciated!!

Remember the old days if you purchased something online you’d usually have shipping options!

EDIT: DMCVT, yep I here ya, but not about sooner, just trying to ensure we’ll even get it ; )

well... it left Cali two days ago, said to arrive here in Vermont via the hybrid SurePost Thursday July 6. Ten days?? OK a weekend and a holiday. Must be moving through Montana soon. Like Oro, rural, go to the PO for mail pickup. UPS knows where I live, but why pay for a day sooner, plenty music here.

Last Five:
Memoirs: Paul Bley, Paul Motian, Charlie Haden, (Italian import)
Joe Henderson: So Near, So Far
Dave Holland: One's All
Steve Kimock: Satellite City
Phish: A Live One

Moving thru Montana soon. Love it, gonna be a dental floss tycoon, Or something like that.

Sent a PM a few days back. Has a picture of jimi from your first show. Was that the Washington Hilton Ballroom or something(?)...

Hey DaveRock,
Do not waver on the Hendrix Winterland box! If you can still get it, I would highly recommend it!
Between the box set and Ryko's Live at the Winterland, (or if you find it Ryko's Live at the Winterland +3),
you have [almost] all six complete shows with Stellar sound! I'd compare it to listening to your old
SB> Reel> CD copy of 5/8/77 and then listening to "Get Shown The Light".

While we're on the Hendrix subject, you can get all 4 New Years Eve Fillmore East shows on the
"Songs for Groovy Children" box. And the Maui show is an Essential as well!!
Keep On Groovin'
~ friscokid77

Thanks!!! think that was it, looks like the chaos it was. Folding chairs, believe no more than 400-500 people there, not a very large room. One can see, a fairly minimal set up. We were about 6-7th row, just off center. Have a digital image of the poster and low fidelity recording, like it was made on a bad mono cassette recorder. Stories I could tell... as high school kids driven by parents, for that show we ate hash because reefer reeked so bad. That made the chicken head tackle beyond astonishing. Music's the best and live music is the very best. Concert Saturday, Bill Cole's Untempered Ensemble, free jazz in a old church with outstanding acoustics. Bill is in his 80s, plays didgeridoo, Taylor Ho Bynum will be there on cornet, played with Anthony Braxton and Mary Halvorson. Next Thursday, half of Mr. Sun, Grant Gordy (guitar with Grisman for years) and Joe K Walsh, mando master in acoustic quartet outdoors on a hilltop farm, pray it don't rain. Saturday week, grand daddy of American music, Jim Rooney hosts a bluegrass concert at his farm on Star Mountain. Jim also 80 something. Might get up to Jay Peak in August for JRAD outdoors.... summer in Vermont lasts about 5-6 weeks, must take advantage.

Spinning 6-10-73 CD 4 first.
Verdict?
Sounds better than any copy I’ve had over the years. The 3rd set of my copies was always lower quality than the rest of the show.
So far CD 4 sounds grate (on track 2).

Hope all the CD’s play fine, they all have scuff marks because they are packaged in cardboard sleeves.

On the tracking page of the UPS app on my phone it asked if I wanted to upgrade to UPS Ground, so I did.
Note: UPS had it in their possession already when I upgraded.

It arrived today.
USPS Slow Post probably would have delivered it Monday, or Wednesday because of the holiday.
It usually takes 10 days to get to me once I get the notice.

Dogon - it should be a great release, this "Door Inside Your Mind" box" My introduction to the WCPAEB was through the vinyl comp "Transparent Day", in the mid 1980's, which is in itself a great album. Apart from that, I just had a cd copy of "Child's Guide..." and a cd of the post Reprise "Where's My Daddy". The new one should be arriving in the next hour. Grapefruit, as well as being a sweet if slightly bitter fruit, is a great reissue label for psych etc from 1966-1973. So far mainly focussed on British bands, though.

Friscokid77 - you've convinced me! I have just ordered the Winterland box - there only seems to be one available anywhere.
I never got that Rykodisc album - again I just had a copy - on cassette at that. The versions I have of these shows are the Reclamation box I mentioned, which seems to feature every note from all 6 shows, and a two disc comp on the Purple Haze label, called "Winterland Night". But both these are unofficial, so although they sound alright, for the most part, they shouldn't compare to the official cds.

I have got that "Groovy Children" box - that is really great of course.
I still haven't got the Maui box - or the L.A. Forum show from 4/26/69, come to that. Reason being....again I've got unofficial versions. The one I have from Maui has a very poor sound - although the L.A.Forum one isn't so bad. I got that as a double, with the Isle of Fehmarn show from 9/6/70 included. I need to get the official versions of these, and will at some point. The Maui shows in particular...tremendous playing - among my favourite live Hendrix music.
Anyway - thanks for the nudge!

01132 arrived here in Central New York yesterday, Thursday, 6/29 at 14:19. lol. Anyway, I upgraded the shipping $19.99 for the year, I figure it'll help with the Dave's Picks also.

A few... or several of the discs are beat up pretty bad already, I was always afraid something like this would happen one day with the cardboard sleeves they like so much. Many of them were just flopping around loose, not to mention taking them in and out seems to damage them furthur. I really can't believe they thought this was a good design idea. So much for the physical copies holding there value... I should add I'm not all that impressed with the whole overall look/design otherwise, and I'm a guy who likes everything all the time.

Mr. Ones was correct. I finally got a shipping notification for the 6-10-73 4CD.
7-28-23 release date was no longer on the store description of the 4CD.
(still no comment section) Then a day later my account showed shipped.
Then another day later I got a shipping notice.
But of course the tracking number is not working.
Should see it in less than a week now if I'm lucky.
But naturally it will travel an extra needless 500 miles in a circuitous route through Denver adding about 3-5 days. Such is life in the Dead shipping world. Not worried at all but, like BC says, a bit frustrating.
Cheers and enjoy!

YW! Amazing what you can find sometimes, not even sure how I found that, or the search term. Was also researching that hotel. Always had a weird little quirk. Love studying the gathering place of the crowd. Everything from the Coliseum in Rome, to dive bars, theaters, arenas, stadiums, and other places like hotels.

Funny you mention the hash scene. Been meaning to post for years, why not now. My hometown used to have an enormous blonde hash pipeline. Could get an ounce of blonde, gentleman do prefer blondes after all, for around $60. That was late 1970's into the early 80's. Then, the local government decided to bring in a "made" sheriff from south florida, big city. Within 6 months of his hiring, the blondes vanished. A year or so later that pipeline was replaced with new pipelines out of this other southern city, a pipeline of Cocaine. Interesting how this works isn't it. Of course with the Barry Seal incident, which this had nothing to do with, we can see how corrupt and evil our government has become. Outlaw something, then provide those in need. Is it right on or righteous? Get em addicted, then raise price, then develop jar heads to go out and bust heads and arrest. That is why I live a low key life. Live simple, dont pay taxes to feed them. I really miss blonde hash.

Edit: different topic for another day, love the forthcoming concert agenda. Could not tell you how man bluegrass festivals I have attended. We have an awesome little annual fiddler/pickers weekend coming up. Just a slow weekend which I have attended (off and on) since I was young. Draws around 500 hundred fiddlers/pickers for the weekend. Some solo, some groups, some groups made of people that meet there and just form a jam session. It is very nice weekend indeed.

These records have always been part of my life. There is also ( and this is where it gets confusing), an earlier and completely different volume one! Originally released on the Fifo label, Sundazed put it out on cd years ago.

It's disappointing to read about people finding discs coming loose in thin sleeves, getting scratched or smudged. Most of us paid close to $200 including shipping fees for this collection. WMG took about five weeks to replace a defective disc on my last DaP, those are protected fairly well by their packaging. Why invite these headaches. Local music was huge around here pre-pandemic and is now back to what it was. This time of year, much of it is outside, many small towns repurposed an old church, schoolhouse, barn, what have you for venues that support musicians who would not pull more than a couple hundred folks. Then there's house concerts fall and winter, where small groups of 25-35 plus gather at someones home for pot luck, the host passes all proceeds to the artists who usually stay overnight there. Hash report for Gary (also check your PMs), while in high school in the DC metro area in the late 60s, reefer was pretty crappy, even the supposed higher grade Mexican. Thai stick we saw also pretty mediocre. Good Columbian had not yet appeared. There was always good hash around and it was inexpensive, same range as you noted, usually Lebanese blond or red, soft green stuff from Morocco that was more like pressed kif, Afghani black slabs, all easier to handle, more discreet. Word had it that it came in with the diplomatic traffic which didn't have to go through customs inspections. Thankful that we live in more enlightened times these days, avoiding mention of SCOTUS.

I think it's so cool that we now have every show from 4/2/73 to 6/26/73 officially released -

Now we need 3/31/73 & 6/29/73 ;-P

@Steve73: Log into dead.net the store not the comments and check your order which will allow you to track the order. That's how I found out mine was arriving today. I typically get the tracking info well after it arrives if I do get it at all.

#9710 arrived. Anyone else have a rounded corner of the gold box? Guessing mine fell off the conveyor belt prior to going into shipping box. Music ripped fine. Sampling Eyes from RFK on my desktop as I clean up the song format from ripping to ALAC and sounds good with my crappy PC speakers so looking forward to listening with the better gear!

Duece - Regarding artwork, Jeff Smith has been providing quality scans a few days post release when he can get to scan them and emails them out to a bunch of us, he usually gives a heads up here before he sends them out...

Itsburnsy - # is on back of brown outer box. Got a high number almost as bad as Giant's box...

Cassidy comes to Vegas and the Knights win a cup with Vguy in the house and his luck continues getting the first boxset! Way to go Vince!

No offense,
But I’d take the first six shows of the year!

I ordered the FLAC files and they came as 192 kHz - 24 Bit, not 96/24 as advertised. That is more than fine with me. But people may want to know because they won't play on a iPhone for example. All files are also present and accounted for in the downloads. I think that is a first. Again, more good news. The best news is that these shows sound great. It was well worth the $125 for 5 great shows in hi def format.

I preordered the hi-res Flac files on May 2nd, yet I'm still unable to download any of these shows. See that folks ordering right now are downloading the shows without issue. Is anybody else having the same issue? Sent a notification email to Dead.net early this AM with no response. Frustrated!

Dead net
U get my money
What do I get ??????
Wait be patient!!!!!!
I believe a multi million dollar company
They treat the customer with ……with…..
Zero customer service
Buy the product the first day it’s available
And have wait ……wait……
Betcha u didn’t have to wait to get paid

Thank you for trying to help, but I did that before posting about it in the comments. It shows my receipt, with the payment info from 5/2/23, but no tracking info. And I've tried submitting requests for help. Maybe I'll order another box and try to sell any extra copies later if I ever receive one.

Dont know I would order another one. It takes time, man, for hippies to get their shit together. I have not ever not received a package. They correct mistakes from what people post here. Relax some. Maybe a release date of 7/10, not over a huge holiday weekend. UPS may be working hard but the laid back gummie people will get to it when they get to it. Now I am not expecting my until around the 10th. Hope to be pleasantly surprised. More than half I receive without an email, so hoping that. And I bet I have only gotten maybe 3 emails total, mostly show up unannounced. Know that is a problem too, but maybe some comfort to relax. OOps double negative

A gentle "Hmmm . . . ?" to the person here who told me that GL20 and the Sunshine Box could not arrive the same day, when I mused about how Grate that day would be, if it happened. :)

Be kind, rewind.

It is already available to download for free in the nether regions of the internet, yet I cannot get my FLAC files that I pre-ordered...

The cosmos is speaking to me. It is saying:

Hey Dead.net - Is anyone working on the downloads not being available for those of us who preordered the digital files? I can login with my user name and password, but the only file in my available downloads is the Ramble On Rose from when I ordered back on May 7. Sent the Support Request first thing this AM, but haven't heard a peep since the automated support request email came back to me.

Is this box sent UPS or USPS?

also...what are the approximate dimensions of the shipped box?

I have my anxiety-drenched reasons for asking.

I WANT MY BOX NOW!!! WHAAA!!!

Seriously....so close....I really want to have it in hand.

My tracking number doesn't work. It says it's the wrong number at UPS, USPS and the Swedish postal service.
So I try to enter the order number, my e-mail adress and my zip code but get the answer it's not traceable here at dead.net.

How come there's often some fucked up mess with these orders?
Okey, so I got a mail on June 24 my box set was sent to me but why isn't it traceable through order number or tracking number?

Box came today. It's a very nice box once again. (they do make a nice box). I've ripped them in and spot listened to a couple of cuts. The Eyes from Kezar was VERY nice. The recordings I've poked have been GREAT recordings, Phil seems nicely recorded. This is gonna be some nice listening.

Why no information about downloads? Surely we deserve better than this.

You could do your Old profile picture and New profile picture as Before and After photos. For example, before Mind Blowing Playing Jam and After Mind Blowing Playing Jam. :-D

Jam on folks and Keep it Safe and Sane this 4th.

Be mindful of those little doggies and Vets I guess will jump out of their chairs with Fireworks so as Jerry Says "Be Nice" :-) :-) :-)

Dogon - thanks for the heads up about other WCPAEB recordings. I have just been looking in Patrick Lundborg's excellent "The Acid Archives" book, and that original release of their first album, on the Fifo label was going for 17,000 dollars at the time the book went into print! It does seem to have come out on cd - in an altered form - but even that is hard to find nowadays.

" Markely: A Group" seems more accessible - I have just bought a cd of that for the princely sum of £2.99 on eBay.

Digging around, I have been looking into some of Michael Lloyd's other recordings. An album by "The Smoke" is readily available on cd, and heading towards Daverock Towers as we speak.
Less easy to buy at a reasonable price is an album he made with a band called "The October Country".
There is a humdinger of track off this called "My Girlfriend is a Witch" on the "That's Where The Action Is! L.A.Nuggets 1965-1968" box set that came out on Rhino in 2009. I think I'll have to make do with that for the time being.

This new box , "A Door Inside Your Mind" is great - unfortunate that they have always been off so many people's radar.

The 1973 box is presumably on it's way. That's my Dead reference for the day.

Can't believe I dragged my feet on this one. I guess it's the single show for me unless someone has an extra.. Either way, enjoy!
