    I can see clearly..
I know... I KNOW that I saw the Dead in the 90s in either Vegas or Eugene play in the hot summer. It rained, cooled everyone off. The rain ended. They played "I Can See Clearly Now (The Rain is Gone)", but I can't find it on any set lists. I'd love to download the show from archive.org, but can't find the show I KNOW I was at. Thought it was '93 in Eugene when the Indigo Girls opened, or my last show in Vegas '95. Am I still hallucinating? Help and info appreciated.

    looney toonz song book
i recently made a purchase on ebay of a frank zappa book along with an older deadbase (#3) and some random taper covers (awesome, calvin and hobbes ones and stealies that were huge late 80's early 90's and if you have treasuered tapes from then, you know the ones i am talking about) anyway the guy included a three hole punched over 100 pages of a home made song book called looney toonz there is no information about it other then the name looney toonz on the bottom. it is complete which is amazing, and all i can think is someone must have been making and selling these at shows...it is really cool and i would love any info on who made it or if you know of them or have one or anything! i am assuming, because of the materials it came with it is late 80's early 90's (very early, like 90 91) made any help, thanks!!! it has an index in the back and well over 100 songs in there muffin www.creativemuffin.com

In search of Sterling silver, and belt buckles
I'm looking for a source for some Peter Stone Dead sterling silver jewelry. It was available until a few years ago, and I can not find anything, but a few Dancing Bear pendants. I would like to find a few of the bigger pieces, ie.large SYF, or SpaceYF pendant, dancing skeleton bracelet, various rings. I am also looking for a few of the cast belt buckles that were produced by GDproductions, or the bolt buckles that were produced by Liquid Blue in Amsterdam. I have done the google search thing, and am familar with the online stores, like hippishop, liquid blue, woodstock, and others that come up when searching. There was one store online that had some buckles, but it was in Japan, and I could not read a thing. Maybe your local head shops still have some stuff in stock, or your buddies with that guy that has it all. Any help would be great, cash or trade hit me up, Peace, Billy bill@bareboneschoppers.com

    Truckin/Turlock connection
I'm from Turlock, and just getting into collecting Grateful Dead albums/concerts/etc. A few years ago, I bought the Europe '72 CD, and that's where I first heard either Bob or Jerry introduce Truckin' as the number one song in Turlock, CA for 2 weeks...etc. I've sent emails to all my folks friends who lived in Turlock during the 60s/70s and they don't remember any Grateful Dead shows in town at that time. So... what's the Turlock connection? Any ideas? Any info helps, as my old college roommate thinks that Turlock is a big waste of time, and nothing good has ever come from the city.

I'm working on a project where I want to attempt to archive Grateful Dead bootleg lot shirts. I would like to create a print publication as well as a website celebrating the lot bootleg shirt. I would also like to document the stories and lore behind the shirts. I would love to hear any stories about anyone funding their tour by selling shirts, stories from shirt creators, any crazy Dead bootleg story (favorite shirt, shirts tha led to introductions, crazy adventures, etc... Feel free to send me any pictures, stories, ideas, suggestions, etc.. Thanks! Peace.

A long, long time ago, when we listened to tapes, a friend of mine had this great show from (I think) May 1978. Here is what (I think) I remember:
Terrapin > Sunrise > Estimated, which were mind-blowing. Probably Donna's best Sunrise; will bring you to tears.
I'm fairly sure that Terrapin went straight in to Sunrise. But I'm sure that Sunrise went straight in to Estimated. I don't think it was edited that way.
They were playing these tunes a lot at that time, but I've combed through the archives and just can't locate a show with this sequence; my memories may be at fault.

Thanks!

In Deadbase X, the lists for all 30 Sunrises:
5-12-77 Estimated>Sunrise>Terrapin
5-22-77 Good Lovin'>Sunrise>Estimated
1-11-78 Samson>Sunrise>Terrapin
4-11-78 Fire>Sunrise>Terrapin
That's all that have either an Estimated or a Terrapin on either side.
So maybe that 5-12-77?
Cheers

Hey 1st Show!

Thanks for the assist; May 22 1977 is the one. Listening to it right now. You know what's wrong with that show? NOTHING! ;-) Many of the tunes played that night are easily top picks for me.

Does anyone have contact information for the photographer who was shooting family portraits at Laguna Seca in 1988? Today my daughter, who was three years old at those shows, mentioned that the post-show scene at those gigs is one of her earliest memories. I’d love to get a print of the photo that was taken by that photographer. Thanks!

When doing a data transfer I managed to lose all of the 30 Days music I'd collected over the years
I thought I once came across a site that allowed one to download previous years, but darned if I can find it again.
Anybody help me find it again, or something similar?
Thanks in advance.

Post over on the 30 days thread.
I'm sure someone there knows.
They are incredibly knowledgeable.
Good luck and cheers
