    Anniversary Weekend!
    Spent last weekend in SF and SJ trekking to Dead sites of interest. Caught a show at TXR and Kimock...thought of all my Daydreamers and broke my face smiling!

    Geo, your thoughts are spot on and if we all took those words to heart the world would indeed be a better place. These are troubling times for sure. Thank the Great Spirit for the Good Ole Grateful Dead...a box of rain will ease the pain and love will see you through.

    Thoughts this morning
    ...now, more than ever, we need to celebrate the good in our country, and the Good Old Grateful Dead have sure provided a lot of that. While not minimizing what happens tragically, we do need to focus on peace, love and bringing a smile to those around us. Mona posted that today was the official name change for the Boys to the Grateful Dead, and that happened 50 years ago...so happy happy birthday guys. As I reflect on the violence that seems to happen on an unfortunate regular basis, I can't help but think as a society we can do a better job. Think globally, act locally comes to mind....and for me, that starts with my own personal thoughts and what kind of spirit I want to have, and project to those close by. We can each make this place a better place, and we each need to do that. We each need to take responsibility for our thoughts, words and deeds, and strive to make this world a better place, one smile, one song, one hug at a time. So greet a friend, look someone in the eye, and say "I care". Think good thoughts, and yes, mourn and grieve as necessary, but know that your smile, your gesture, your words are important to us all. Best wishes, good thoughts and prayers to those hurting today. May the music provide warmth, your friends provide compassion, and memories of a real good time bring a smile to your spirit. Take care one and all...you matter to us as you matter to your friends and family. Peace to you and yours. geo

Anyone planning on bringing a film camera to the shows? 35mm? 120? Why cant we get photo tickets like the tapers. Unless you score 8th row. It does happen and was happly taking pictures the whole show. I'll see you outside the shows taking pictures of your faces so smile smile smile!!! I

Tony, thanks for keeping an eye out for those ticket deals that can help a fellow SDer! It's much appreciated. I PM'd will74, but no dice. He hasn't gotten any other offers, but cheap obstructed view SC tix are not very appealing, even when you sweeten the deal.

Sorry just got back from inspecting the bus..don't worry about the scratches, and yes ma'am you really know how to off-road...but there nothing wrong with kicking up a little mud every now and then..right? Your fashion sense is impeccable...the fuzzy dice and the doggy whose head goes boing boing boing when you hit a bump really make this bus feel like home...oh yeah, that mean people suck bumper sticker rocks... So Geeky....Bus license reinstated.... Baby you can drive my car ummm bus 8 days a week!!!!! Have a fantastic day! One more thing, Lisa is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho... Still no tickets yet. I offered for a Field GA ticket on ebay at $600 and was countered at $650 but that was just before the PPV was announced yesterday so I'm inclined to turn it down at this point.

So far found 2 pair of tighty whiteys, a pair of boxers, 2 thongs, a jock a coffee stained wife beater and a speedo on the floor of the bus.... Just don't like living in a sty brah....like the last time I flew to India...first 3 hours fine....but damn those bathrooms ripened quickly....no ma'am no prune juice or bran flakes for me.... RRRRRRGGGGGRRRRRRRRR, you still driving this thingy? Being that we are an environmentally friendly group, I have to assume the bus is powered by clean burning no emissions natural gas. So, I am here to help (yes, I'm still here for all of those shaking their heads!) BTW, it is not nice to shake us too much, we might get dizzy. So since I just hopped back on the bus (y'all)(again), there's no need to stop for gas.... ...I had a gigantic burrito for lunch (and it's not the veggie type).
